Hi Brides

I had the worst two hours of my life this week!

 As you all know I run the business on my own with my husband helping out with the admin on his days off.

I had a bride text me about alterations to her dress one day, and I asked her to email me as I find it easier to keep it all on one portal .

 While I waited for her to email me, I went searching for her dress, as I relate my brides to their dresses in my head, which is how I keep track of everyone. I couldn't find it at the boutique, and started to feel a little sick. I sent her a text asking for more information, and started searching invoices, contracts and files. NOTHING.  

 I rang my husband, absolutely beside myself and hysterical, saying I had somehow missed the bride's order and that I couldn't find her paperwork or her dress. I was crying on the phone and my husband had to leave work because I was clearly NOT coping with the situation. My husband arrived and we were looking for her name -- there was nothing with that name, no email trail or anything. Meanwhile, I'm texting this bride to find out more information but without stressing her out.

 My husband asked if there was the chance she may have bought the dress elsewhere and I told him off because what a stupid thing to say -- of course this bride knows where she bought her dress from! 

 Turns out she DID text the wrong shop. Missing a dress order is my worst nightmare but I know we can all make mistakes -- I would be absolutely devastated if this happened to my bride and I was SO relieved to clarify with the bride!

 Hopefully her wedding day goes off without a hitch!
