My First Buying Trip of the Year

Rome – February 15th, Palazzo Brancaccio

My first buying trip of the year took me to beautiful Rome for a small bridal fair held at the stunning Palazzo Brancaccio.

The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous, although it didn’t host a large number of exhibitors. What made this show unique is that all of the designers were Ukrainian bridal designers, which made the experience feel very personal and special.

One thing I really love about working with these designers is that there are no minimum orders. This allows me to carefully select pieces that fill the gaps in my boutique rather than committing to large collections. Even better, they allow design changes to be made to sample dresses, which is something many other designers I carry don’t offer.

It’s also so nice to meet the designers in person. When it comes time to place my orders later, I know exactly who I’m speaking with, which makes the process much more personal.
