Google Reviews—The Truth Behind Them

As of today (05-02-2025), every one-star review I’ve received hasn’t come from an actual Accapella Bride who was unhappy with my service. I'm really proud of that, in 13 years of running my boutique.
When I get a one-star ⭐️ review, it’s usually because I didn’t allow photos, didn’t have the exact dress someone was looking for, or something similar. But I’ll be honest—negative reviews hit me hard. I take them personally, and it takes me weeks to shake off the feeling. I always question what I could have done differently to prevent it. I’ve come to accept that I can't make everyone happy, no matter how hard I try.
I genuinely care about each appointment and every bride I meet. Sometimes, I even feel anxious, worried I might say the wrong thing—but honesty has always been a core part of who I am.
For a little background: I left school after Year 10 and studied full-time fashion for three years in the ’80s. Back then, there were no customer service courses or business training—just hands-on experience and passion.
All I ask is this: before leaving a one-star review, please reach out and let me know. I’d be incredibly grateful for the chance to address your concerns.
This business is my livelihood. It’s everything I know, and I run it entirely on my own. Please consider that before leaving a review that could deeply impact me and my boutique.
Thank you for understanding. 💕
