Barcelona Bridal Fashion week 2025

Hi Brides-to-be,
What an experience Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week was!
I wish I could have arrived earlier on Friday — unfortunately, I missed the fashion show. That’s the reality when you run your own business and personally handle all the alterations! I couldn’t leave until I was sure all my work was complete.
The two full days I spent there were exciting (and exhausting!) with four bridal appointments lined up, each exploring potential new designers to bring into the boutique. Some of the appointments lasted 2–3 hours!
There were three standout designers that caught my eye, but as a sole boutique owner in a regional area, I could only choose two.
I tend to select designers who allow custom changes to their gowns, bringing back my made-to-measure skills. Coming from a bespoke background, I always lean towards wedding dresses with a real point of difference — I get bored with commercial, cookie-cutter designs.
I want my brides to walk down the aisle as true Accapella Brides — unique, confident, and fitted to perfection.
The designs I saw this year truly excite me!
As a lover of peplums (my own wedding dress in 1989 featured a peplum!), bows, and gloves, I was thrilled to see these trends making a strong return. Strapless gowns are also big, along with that gorgeous Brighton vibe, pearl detailing, corsetry, basque waistlines, and beautiful ruching — all the elements that flatter a bride’s figure.
I cannot wait for my new gowns to arrive. I hope my 2026 brides are just as excited as I am!
Love,
Connie xo
